Dental Assistant – 39‑Week Term Position

About the role

Griffith Health Clinics are seeking a Dental Assistant to support students and staff in delivering high‑quality patient care across a range of dental treatments. This full‑time, 39‑week term role is based at the Gold Coast campus and aligns with the university teaching calendar.

Key responsibilities

• Assist staff and students with diverse dental procedures and treatments.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness, hygiene, and prepare equipment for sterilisation.
• Support smooth clinic operations under the Dental Assistant Team Leader.
• Provide administrative and reception duties as needed.

Required profile

• Associate diploma level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Australian Dental Assistant qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current Queensland Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

• Strong administrative attention to detail.
• Ability to work under supervision and contribute to efficient operations.
