Demolition & Civil Labourer

About the role

McMahon Services is looking for experienced demolition and civil labourers to support industrial, remediation and demolition projects across Perth and regional Western Australia. You will work alongside supervisors and project teams on a variety of sites, gaining exposure to complex civil and environmental works while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out demolition, remediation and civil labouring tasks.
• Assist with site preparation, manual handling and general construction activities.
• Operate hand and power tools safely, including oxy‑cutting and demolition support.
• Support asbestos removal activities where appropriately licensed.
• Maintain site safety, housekeeping and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to achieve project outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in demolition, remediation, civil construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to work safely in physically demanding conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality.
• Reliable work ethic and willingness to support varied site activities.

Required skills

• Non‑Friable Asbestos Removal (Class B) certification.
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.
• HR Driver’s licence.
• Oxy‑cutting experience.
• Construction Industry White Card.
