Demand Planner

About the role

Goodman Fielder is hiring a Demand Planner to help keep its iconic food brands moving across Grocery, Foodservice and Industrial. You will own demand forecasting, optimise inventory and partner with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy, product availability and customer service. The role suits someone who wants to turn data into action in a growing Foodservice & Industrial portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts using SAP IBP, analysing sales trends, seasonality and market activity.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to align forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory and stock exposure and drive corrective actions.
• Manage interstate stock transfers to improve availability and customer service.
• Minimise aged, slow-moving and obsolete stock to reduce waste and write-offs.
• Support new product launches, product deletions and replenishment planning.
• Deliver reporting and insights to support weekly planning and S&OP processes.

Required profile

• Proven demand planning experience, ideally in FMCG or retail.
• Strong forecasting, inventory management and end-to-end supply chain knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills; SAP IBP experience highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
