Demand and Supply Planning Manager

About the role
The Demand & Supply Planning Manager reports to the Operations Director and leads the end‑to‑end planning agenda for Oceania. The role translates demand signals, retailer commitments, launch plans and supply constraints into an integrated operational plan that supports service, revenue and working capital objectives across a multi‑brand fragrance and beauty portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process, own the annual calendar and monthly planning cycle.
- Drive demand consensus with Commercial and Marketing, translating promotional plans and market intelligence into SKU‑level forecast assumptions.
- Oversee forecast quality, data integrity and variance analysis against budget.
- Secure timely IBP forecast submission aligned with global deadlines.
- Facilitate local S&OP meetings, surfacing risks, decisions and actions.
- Lead launch and promotional volume planning, ensuring assumptions are based on historical performance and retailer commitments.
- Guide cannibalisation analysis and post‑launch performance reviews.
- Govern promotional stock exit plans and manage leftover stock risks.
- Lead local supply planning from HQ availability through to warehouse receipt and shelf readiness.
- Provide visibility of inbound supply, in‑transit stock, DRP cycles and inventory projections.
- Prioritise supply constraints, define mitigation plans and communicate out‑of‑stock risks.
- Partner with Global Supply Planning to manage production delays, allocation constraints and recovery plans.
- Own inventory health governance, including overstock and slow‑moving stock.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading S&OP and demand consensus processes.
- Strong analytical capability to assess forecast accuracy and inventory health.
- Ability to collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Global Planning teams.
- Leadership skills to manage a planning team and drive continuous improvement.
