Delivery Services Officer – Level 1

About the role

As a Delivery Services Officer (Level 1) you will be responsible for delivering parcels and freight across the Adelaide Metro area for DHL Supply Chain. The role focuses on reliable, on‑time deliveries while providing excellent customer service to both business and residential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Complete multi‑drop deliveries within the assigned geographic zone.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Plan daily routes to optimise travel time and fuel consumption.
• Interact with customers, answer enquiries and secure deliveries within agreed time‑frames.
• Follow vehicle locking, inspection and stringent security procedures.
• Record each delivery using handheld devices and computer systems.

Required profile

• Prior experience with multi‑drop deliveries.
• Current C‑class licence, able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Familiarity with the Adelaide Metro area.
• Clear communication skills and a “can‑do” attitude.
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance and provide a recent driving record.
