Datacenter Technician – Onsite (Western Sydney)

About the role

The Datacenter Technician is responsible for keeping data‑center services operational across multiple sites in Western Sydney. You will work on daily tickets, perform hardware repairs, and ensure service continuity while adhering to strict service‑level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Break‑fix and maintenance: troubleshoot issues, run validation tests, and replace hardware as needed.
• Maintain a 14‑day SLA: monitor and achieve SLA targets for each assigned location.
• Deployments: follow the deployment schedule, report progress, and complete tasks according to instructions.
• Daily stand‑up: attend the team stand‑up each day and provide status updates.
• Asset tracking: update the SharePoint asset tracker for all equipment you manage.
• Inventory management: record all part movements in ServiceNow and keep stockroom records accurate.
• Tool and workspace upkeep: maintain a clean, organized 5S‑compliant colocation environment.

Required profile

• Australian citizen with NV1 clearance or a valid Baseline clearance.
• Ability to work onsite across Kemps Creek, Eastern Creek and Huntingwood.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to daily reporting.
