Data Quality Analyst

About the role

Civica is seeking a detail‑focused Data Quality Analyst to join the ArborSafe Production team. You will ensure that arboricultural data and reports are accurate, consistent, and ready for delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and edit tree inventory and assessment data collected by field arborists, checking for completeness, consistency, anomalies and formatting issues.
• Proofread and finalise customer reports, checking spelling, grammar, pagination, headings, tables, images and overall presentation.
• Confirm that customer, site and project details are accurate across all documentation.
• Identify unclear or conflicting information, document queries and work with arborists or technical contacts to resolve them.
• Apply checklists, templates, naming conventions, quality standards and document‑control requirements consistently.
• Manage priorities, maintain job status information and support production schedules and delivery timeframes.
• Escalate matters requiring arboricultural judgement while protecting the integrity of the original technical assessment.
• Contribute ideas to improve report quality, workflow consistency and efficiency.

Required profile

• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing data and documents.
• Strong proofreading, editing, grammar and written communication skills.
• Experience in data quality, quality assurance, auditing, proofreading, document review or report production.
• Ability to interpret structured or technical information and follow defined standards.
• Confidence working autonomously while seeking guidance when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro (highly regarded).
