Data Engineer - CrewConnect Integration

About the role

This Data Engineer role builds and maintains data integration pipelines between CrewConnect and upstream and downstream systems, supporting scalable enterprise data products in cloud-native environments. It sits within the People Domain initiatives and covers data solutions deployed on Snowflake, DBT and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data integration pipelines and interfaces between CrewConnect and upstream/downstream systems.
• Analyse existing data flows, mappings and dependencies and support interface enhancements.
• Build and support reliable data ingestion, transformation and validation, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Troubleshoot data and interface issues and perform root-cause analysis with application and product teams.
• Translate crew and resource scheduling data requirements into scalable integration and data-engineering solutions.

Required profile

• Advanced experience in SQL development and data modelling for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data solutions with Snowflake, and with DBT for transformation, testing, documentation and deployment.
• Experience with Git-based DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data governance: data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship and access controls.
• Ability to turn complex business requirements into maintainable data solutions, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent practical experience.
