Data Engineer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

This role supports the execution of TPG's AI Strategy by building modern data pipelines and delivering reusable, high‑quality data products on a cloud‑based AI platform. You will work within the Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence, collaborating with Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, Architecture, and other technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the data and AI product roadmap, creating ETL/ELT and MLOps pipelines that provide a single source of truth.
• Write, support, and maintain production‑grade source code for data ingestion and transformation.
• Maintain and document a high‑performance data engineering and AI platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues, ensuring continuous operation of BAU data products.
• Adopt agile ways of working, participate in scrum ceremonies, and present work for peer review.
• Collaborate with Governance & Risk teams to manage data product risk.
• Partner with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, analysts, and platform/DevOps engineers.
