Data Analyst – 12-Month Fixed-Term (Hybrid)

About the role

Princess Cruises is seeking a Data Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis to modernise reporting across its APAC commercial functions. The role is hybrid, with two days remote and three days in the modern Chatswood office, and offers the chance to turn large data sets into actionable insights for sales, marketing and revenue teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance Power BI dashboards that deliver commercial insights.
• Extract, transform and analyse large data‑warehouse datasets using advanced SQL.
• Replace manual Excel‑based reporting with automated, scalable Power BI solutions.
• Own the Power BI reporting environment and continuously improve its performance.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Commercial stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver practical solutions.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimise dashboard usability.
• Support CRM reporting and contribute to Salesforce reporting enhancements.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the APAC analytics landscape.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence professional or similar role.
• Advanced SQL skills and proven experience working with data warehouses.
• Strong track record developing, maintaining and optimising Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a passion for uncovering insights.
• Experience supporting commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing or Revenue Management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
