D365 Specialist - Microsoft Dynamics

About the role

An established infrastructure organisation is looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Specialist to take ownership of its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations environment. The role combines hands-on configuration, solution delivery and stakeholder engagement, and leads Power Platform, automation and AI initiatives. It is based in Western Sydney, permanent and full time, with a flexible salary depending on experience; start date ASAP. Only Australian citizens or full-time permanent residents can be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations environment so it meets evolving business needs.
• Work with business stakeholders to turn their challenges into practical technology solutions.
• Manage the D365 product roadmap, prioritise improvements, coordinate releases and drive user adoption.
• Design and deliver Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Champion Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities to improve productivity and automate processes.
• Perform business analysis: requirements gathering, process mapping, functional solution design and testing.
• Collaborate with the central technology team and external vendors to meet enterprise architecture, cyber security and data governance standards.
• Support end-user computing solutions, including system improvements, issue resolution and optimisation.
• Develop training materials, documentation and work instructions.

Required profile

• Experienced Dynamics 365 Functional / Technical Consultant, Business Applications Specialist or D365 Owner.
• Strong understanding of how enterprise applications support business operations, able to own a platform and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with project-based organisations, engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure businesses is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Dynamics 365, ideally Project Operations or the legacy Project Service Automation (PSA) module.
• Hands-on configuration of workflows, business rules, processes and system enhancements.
• Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Business analysis, integrations, data governance and application security.
• Application roadmap management, testing, releases and stakeholder engagement.
