Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our remote team on a short‑term contract. You will apply your expertise in low‑level programming and security analysis to help improve our threat detection models and support ongoing security research.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and review content for security vulnerabilities and threat patterns.
• Craft, solve, and review complex cybersecurity problems with real‑world applicability.
• Support improvement of model reasoning around security threats and attack vectors.
• Work asynchronously with a team of domain experts in systems programming and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to classification and evaluation workflows related to security research.

Required profile

• Strong experience in low‑level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity concepts including web security and attack vectors.
• Familiarity with vulnerability classification frameworks such as OWASP or CVEs.
• Strong attention to detail and pattern‑recognition capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to pass an enhanced background check.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $70‑$90.
