Cyber Security Engineer (Hybrid, Subiaco)

About the role

As a Cyber Security Engineer at WA Primary Health Alliance, you will protect and strengthen the organisation’s digital environment. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Lead, you will manage cyber, network and cloud security while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, manage and continuously improve cyber, cloud and network security environments.
• Administer security technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba and Cisco networking, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Purview and Tenable.
• Detect vulnerabilities, investigate threats and coordinate incident response.
• Maintain and enhance the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, risk registers and documentation.
• Lead initiatives including penetration testing, security reviews, remediation and compliance audits.
• Implement Data Loss Prevention controls and other information protection measures.
• Collaborate with managed service providers, vendors and internal stakeholders to improve security outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in cyber security, network security and cloud security.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and ISMS maintenance.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and coordinate with multiple teams.

• Band 5 salary range $114,000–$128,000 per year plus 12 % superannuation
