Customer Service Support Specialist (Call Centre)

About the role

A global manufacturer and distributor of professional and consumer climbing equipment and storage solutions is seeking a proactive Customer Service Specialist for its call centre in Queensland. This is a permanent position with an immediate start available, acting as a key link between customers and the field sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries by phone, email and general contact, delivering excellent customer service
• Make structured outbound calls to regional and lower-touch accounts to strengthen relationships
• Communicate pricing, promotions, product offers and relevant solutions to customers
• Follow up consistently to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Provide accurate, timely information on orders, pricing, product availability and delivery
• Prepare and support quotes, sales campaigns and customer follow-up activities
• Maintain accurate customer and activity records in the CRM and monitor sales data to spot follow-up opportunities
• Work with Sales Representatives and Account Managers to support account growth

Required profile

• Confident dealing with customers and comfortable making outbound calls
• Solid call centre customer service experience, ideally both inbound and outbound
• Proactive approach to outbound calling and customer engagement
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping a high level of service

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication
• CRM systems and working with customer or sales data
• Interpreting customer activity, sales data or reports and turning insights into action

• Salary of around $75,000 plus superannuation
