Customer Service Representative

About the role

Datacom is hiring full‑time Customer Service Representatives for its Modbury‑based Federal Government support team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them solve problems, access essential services and achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email and processing items.
• Build rapport quickly while providing accurate, timely information.
• Identify and resolve issues by following clear processes and guidelines.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators for customer satisfaction and service quality.

Required profile

• Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure.
• Team player with empathy and patience, especially in challenging situations.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Required skills

• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems (typing speed 20 WPM or higher).
