Customer Service Representative - Early Careers

About the role

Datacom is hiring a Customer Service Representative for its customer contact centre, aimed at people who have finished school and want to start a career in technology. You will be paid while you learn, gain real workplace experience and work towards a Certificate III in IT. The role is open to Australian citizens who can obtain the required government security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers and solve problems in the contact centre
• Work as part of a professional team
• Build skills such as confident customer communication, problem-solving, technology and digital skills, teamwork, prioritisation and ownership
• Work towards a Government Security Clearance to support Datacom's clients across Australia

Required profile

• Australian citizen able to obtain the required security clearance
• Curious, enjoys learning and likes helping people and solving problems
• Good attention to detail, communicates clearly and respectfully, patient and understanding
• Team player, reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• Typing around 20 words per minute
