Customer Care Consultant – Canning Vale

About the role

Blackwoods is looking for a Customer Care Consultant in Canning Vale, Western Australia. As the face of the business, you will support customers across Australia through the call centre, providing timely, high-quality service and helping them find the right solutions from the product range while contributing to sales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales, service and backorder enquiries, aiming for first-call resolution
• Build strong relationships with customers, Account Managers and internal teams
• Use questioning techniques and systems (FOCUS) to give the best product and service solutions
• Identify future sales or cross-selling opportunities
• Support team members and contribute to group projects
• Seek ways to improve processes and create efficiencies

Required profile

• Previous customer service or call centre experience; industrial supply/trade knowledge is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Team player who fosters positive relationships
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and commitment to high service standards

Required skills

• Commercial acumen and ability to analyse and solve customer issues
• Computer literacy (Windows, telephony systems)
