Customer Service Representative - Car Rental (Full-Time)

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative for its Sunshine Coast Airport location. You will be the face of the brand, interacting with customers at the rental counter, completing rental bookings and answering general customer inquiries. The role is described as entry level, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Establish customer car rental needs by actively listening
• Explain the various add-ons and services so that the best option suits each customer
• Communicate rental procedures and guidelines clearly
• Complete rental bookings in a timely, efficient and accurate way
• Answer customer questions and inquiries

Required profile

• A full and valid Australian driver's licence
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or sales is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering good service
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Required skills

• Comfortable using computer systems to manage bookings and rental information
• Customer service and communication skills
