Customer Service Operator - Home & Community Support

About the role

Bolton Clarke, a large Australian not-for-profit provider of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, is hiring a Customer Service Operator for its Home & Community Support team. You will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and client referrals in a fast-paced contact centre, helping older Australians and their families access the support they need.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing customer enquiries and client referrals
• Assess the nature of calls and choose the best response, including transfers and escalations when needed
• Record customer information and interactions accurately in internal systems
• Maintain a high volume of diverse interactions while keeping service quality high
• Keep up to date with Bolton Clarke services, funding programs and fee schedules

Required profile

• Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment
• Aged care, healthcare or community services knowledge (highly regarded)
• Ability to work well in busy environments and in a team
• Attention to detail and clear, accurate communication
• Outstanding verbal communication and a professional phone manner

• Navigating multiple systems

• Rotating roster Monday to Sunday, 6:30am to 10:00pm, about 1-2 weekend shifts per month
