Customer Service Officer – Morley Donor Centre

About the role

The Morley Donor Centre is looking for a Customer Service Officer to provide a welcoming and professional experience for blood donors. You will work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring donors feel supported from arrival through post‑donation follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Greet donors warmly and guide them through the donation process.
• Assist donors with completing required paperwork and provide clear instructions.
• Prepare and replenish food and beverages in the donor refreshment area.
• Monitor donors after donation and help schedule future appointments.
• Maintain accurate donor records using multiple computer systems.
• Support day‑to‑day centre operations and uphold health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Working knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in customer‑facing roles (reception, retail or hospitality) is desirable.
• Ability to lift items up to 22.7 kg and perform frequent sitting, bending and reaching.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and afternoon shifts.

Required skills

• Computer literacy – ability to navigate multiple systems accurately.
• Safe food handling.

• Starting pay of $33.13 per hour plus penalties, superannuation and salary packaging.
