Customer Service Officer - Community Bank Forrestfield

About the role

Bendigo Bank is hiring a Customer Service Officer for its Community Bank branch in Forrestfield, Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time position on a 76-hour roster per fortnight. The role sits at the heart of service delivery, helping customers achieve their banking goals through transactions, digital literacy support and product recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Explore customers' needs through in-depth conversations and partner with other specialists in the branch to help them reach their financial goals.
• Support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as the bank innovates its offerings.
• Act as the face of the branch, handling transactions, cash, queries and paperwork while keeping risk considerations in mind.
• Keep up with constant change and embrace lifelong learning, with on-the-job training and external development opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
• Confidence communicating face to face and over the phone with new and existing customers.
• Eagerness to understand what makes the bank different and a drive for collaboration.
• Experience in banking and finance is a plus but not essential.
