Customer Experience Officer

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Customer Experience Officer to join our team at the new Moorabool Shire Council indoor sports stadium in Bacchus Marsh. In this role you will drive new membership sales for our health & fitness and Learn to Swim programmes while delivering a memorable experience for members and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily sales targets for new health‑and‑fitness and swim memberships.
• Provide exceptional in‑person and telephone service to existing and prospective members.
• Deliver accurate information, conduct tours of the facility and convert enquiries into active subscriptions.
• Process cash and card transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system in line with company procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the membership management system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and customer service, preferably in a health‑club or leisure environment.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends and to meet collective and individual targets.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates, valid police check and Working with Children check.

Required skills

• Use of Point of Sale (POS) systems for cash handling.
