Customer Development Manager - NAPA Wetherill Park

About the role

NAPA, Australia and New Zealand's largest and newest name in automotive aftermarket parts, is hiring a Customer Development Manager in Wetherill Park. The role reports to a Channel Manager and works closely with NAPA Branch Managers to build business relationships with target customers in the territory. It has a sales focus and is responsible for the sales and gross margin performance of the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Solve customer problems through consultation, relationship building and understanding customer needs
• Own the sales and gross margin performance of the territory
• Attend and take part in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions
• Achieve sales budgets
• Develop new business through business development and account management
• Foster a culture of safety and practice safe driving behaviour; the role involves lifting, bending, climbing and safe driving

Required profile

• An engaging, strong communicator with sound negotiating skills
• Solutions and service focused, thriving in a KPI-driven environment
• Track record in account management or business development
• Sales and/or customer management experience (automotive industry preferred)
• Ability to liaise with customers and company stakeholders
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Passion for all things automotive
