Customer Banking Specialist Relief - Moorooka

About the role

CommBank is looking for a part-time Customer Banking Specialist to cover the Moorooka branch. The role is a relief position supporting the Moorooka branch as well as the Sunnybank and Sunnybank Hills branches, with reasonable travel required. Rosters are predetermined, so applicants should confirm availability for the Moorooka roster before applying: part time, 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.15pm.

Key responsibilities

• Greet each customer and clearly understand their enquiry, guiding them to the appropriate channel
• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversation to enhance their experience
• Offer options by educating and demonstrating in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Keep an eye on branch movements so it runs effectively and efficiently and customers are satisfied

Required profile

• A proven track record of excellent customer service, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanour
• Ability to manage customer expectations
• Genuine interest in building a career with CommBank and helping customers make informed financial decisions
