Customer Banking Specialist - Moss Vale

About the role

CommBank is hiring a Customer Banking Specialist for its Moss Vale branch, which is part of a multi-channel branch. During the day (9:30am–1pm) the branch serves customers face to face, and after 1pm it handles enquiries and complaints by telephone or digital channels. The advertised roster is part-time, 30 hours per week, with fixed days and times.

Key responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with customers about how to meet their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Help customers with enquiries, account maintenance and applications for credit products.
• Offer options through education and demonstration of in-branch technology and digital banking.
• Solve problems and provide effective solutions while upholding processes, procedures and a risk-adverse culture.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment and to see the big picture for customers.
• Genuine interest in building a career with CommBank and improving customers' financial wellbeing.

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions and act with integrity, placing the customer at the centre.
