Customer Account Advisor, Telebet

About the role

Telebet delivers around-the-clock support for live sporting events, and its Customer Account Advisors manage live telephone wagering and account enquiries. Advisors work in real time within specialist wagering systems while following regulatory standards and safer gambling protocols. Training programmes build deep product knowledge and technical expertise. The role works 5 days over 7, with shifts across evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Process telephone bets accurately while handling general account queries
• Manage inbound calls efficiently using the Avaya telephony system
• Explain bet types and account features using product knowledge
• Identify potential customer harm early to uphold responsible gambling commitments
• Escalate complex account issues and safer gambling concerns according to established procedures
• Collaborate with colleagues and leaders to maintain service standards
• Follow regulatory requirements, security protocols and operational compliance standards

Required profile

• Confident and calm approach in high-pressure situations
• Background in a contact centre or telephone-based customer service environment
• Sound knowledge of sports, fixtures and wagering markets
• Clear communication and active listening

Required skills

• Fast, accurate keyboard skills and data entry
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems at once
• Use of the Avaya telephony system
