Crew Leader - Multinet Gas

About the role

Service Stream is looking for an experienced, proactive Crew Leader to manage a team on its Multinet Gas contract in Clayton. With a strong pipeline of current and upcoming work, the role ensures work is completed to Service Stream, client and legislative requirements, promotes continuous improvement and strong supervision practices, and works closely with the Area Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise teams of various sizes and mechanical equipment, maintaining team discipline
• Deliver induction training and development of personnel, including appraisals of team members
• Train team members in safety, work practices and job procedures
• Resolve field and administrative problems by negotiating solutions
• Plan and organise the work of teams, including scheduling
• Carry out mains and services work requirements
• Ensure administrative and policy aspects comply with legislative requirements
• Contribute to the development and training of work improvements and quality initiatives

Required profile

• Ideally 5+ years of experience in duties associated with being a Team Member
• Proven experience controlling other Team Members and mechanical equipment
• Completion of a Mains and Services Certificate 3 or equivalent (desirable)
• Certificate IV Frontline Management (preferred)
• High School level to Year 11 (English and Maths) or equivalent (highly desirable)
• Valid driver's licence
