Crane Technician – Electrical & Hydraulic Specialist

About the role

As a Crane Technician with Sarens Australia, you will keep a diverse fleet of cranes and lifting equipment operating safely and efficiently. Working on‑site in Perth, you will diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring every lift meets the highest standards of safety, reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on all crane types.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics accurately.
• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections.
• Document all maintenance activities clearly and report findings to the Maintenance Manager.
• Collaborate closely with other technicians and operations teams to support lifting projects.

Required profile

• Legal authorisation to work in Australia.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Proven experience in electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel across Australia as required.
