CPAP Therapy Consultant

About the role

Air Liquide Healthcare Australia supplies medical gases, homecare and sleep services, with a focus on respiratory diseases, sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy. The CPAP Therapy Consultant is responsible for the overall management of the CPAP clinic from service, sales, administration and operations perspectives, and provides administrative support to the commercial activity and to customers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Patient relationship management: handle enquiries in person and by phone, investigate and resolve patient issues, fit patients with prescribed masks or recommend the best one, provide therapy support and counselling, liaise with referring physicians and give follow-up reports
• Sales development: promote services, products and programs, sell new or additional services by phone, display and demonstrate products, and ensure good condition of retail premises and displays
• Admin and stock management: maintain patient files in the company ERP, process online orders and invoices, handle payments, keep adequate stock and reconcile rental and sales stock, and process returned CPAP devices and diagnostic equipment in line with cleaning and QC procedures
• Equipment management: schedule and coordinate servicing and repairs with manufacturers, and comply with ALH policies, regulations and reporting requirements

Required profile

• Ability to perform all listed duties and accountabilities
• Tertiary qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• At least one year of retail experience with customer service and sales skills is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals, and to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organisation and attention to detail
• Occasional standing and lifting up to 5 kg (about 5% of the day)
