CPAP Therapy Consultant / Home Healthcare Technician

About the role

Air Liquide Healthcare Australia is looking for a Home Healthcare Technician in Rockhampton. You will be the face of the company, delivering medical gases and equipment to healthcare facilities and visiting patients in their homes to help them set up, learn about and maintain oxygen equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medical gases to doctors, dentists and residential aged care facilities
• Visit patients to deliver medical equipment, gas cylinders and other supplies
• Set up and maintain medical equipment and educate patients on its use
• Diagnose and replace defective units
• Handle administration tasks such as stock management

Required profile

• Valid and full Australian working rights
• Valid Australian open driver's licence
• Experience and confidence operating a commercial vehicle safely, with knowledge of the local area
• Comfortable moving cylinders and equipment weighing 4 to 25 kg, and using a trolley for heavier items once arrived
• COVID-19 vaccination certificate
• High-level communication skills and ability to work autonomously
• Flexibility with rostering, including on-call duty
• Healthcare-related logistics or patient care experience is favourable but not required
