Country Manager - Australia & New Zealand (MedTech)

About the role

Heng & Hurst is recruiting, on behalf of a global MedTech business, a Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand. The role is senior commercial leadership: an experienced sales leader takes broad ownership of an established ANZ business and plays a key part in its next phase of growth. Reporting to a global leader, you will cover commercial performance, customer and partner relationships, team development and operational execution. The business is evolving its commercial model, so the new Country Manager will shape how the ANZ market grows, works with channel partners and engages with customers. This is a confidential search.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the ANZ commercial strategy and revenue performance
• Build strong relationships with distributors and strategic partners
• Identify new opportunities to grow revenue and market share
• Develop and lead a high-performing local team
• Strengthen customer experience and engagement
• Work closely with global teams to turn strategy into local execution
• Drive greater accountability, structure and commercial rigour across the business
• Lead the evolution of the local marketing, education and customer experience functions

Required profile

• Proven track record of building revenue, developing people and managing complex channel relationships
• Distributor/dealer experience is essential
• Background in MedTech, medical devices, healthcare technology, B2B technology, equipment or other channel-led businesses
• Currently a Sales Director, Commercial Director, Business Unit Director or Country Manager ready for broader ownership of an ANZ business
