Counsellor (NDIS Provider) - Flexible Remote and Community Work

About the role

Inclusion Tree, a national NDIS provider offering human-centred, trauma-informed and strengths-focused services across Australia, is looking for a counsellor to join its multidisciplinary team. The role is a casual position of up to 38 hours per week, combining telehealth and community-based sessions so that work can fit around your life and the needs of participants.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualised, evidence-based counselling and therapy that helps people carry out everyday tasks with confidence.
• Work with participants and their families to set meaningful goals and plan, implement and evaluate person-centred intervention programs.
• Review therapeutic progress and maintain clear participant records and file notes.
• Communicate with all stakeholders and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide assessments and treatment, and offer telehealth consultations as required by participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Counselling or equivalent qualification.
• Compassionate, empathetic and ethically grounded, with a genuine interest in improving the wellbeing of others.
• High-level written, verbal and non-verbal communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Current driver's licence, First Aid certificate and willingness to complete NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission training, worker screening and COVID-19 infection control training.
