Council Services Coordinator

About the role

Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking an experienced, community-focused Council Services Coordinator to lead the delivery of core municipal services in Manyallaluk, Northern Territory. The role oversees the Council's core services delivery model and manages the local workforce that delivers it, in a permanent, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Council's core services delivery model and manage the local workforce delivering it
• Set targets and development plans for the team and conduct quarterly performance reviews
• Collect and report on key performance indicators for the site
• Work closely with the Council Services Manager to deliver against the Directorate's operational plan and budget
• Coordinate and support the Local Authority, its meetings and its members
• Build working relationships across Council work teams, government agencies and the community

Required profile

• Valid working with children card (Ochre Card)
• Completion of a national police check application form before employment starts
• Experience and community focus; applicants are assessed against selection criteria in the Position Description

• Base salary of $94,400.41 to $103,825.61 depending on experience
