Cost Controller (Project & Estimating)

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Cost Controller to join its Precast Solutions team in Yandina Creek, near Brisbane. You will split your time between cost control/project controls and estimating/tender support, ensuring financial accuracy and competitive bids for major infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain project cost control systems, including LinkedSite.
• Track project and bid expenditure against approved budgets.
• Manage cost forecasting, cash‑flow analysis and month‑end reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and variance commentary.
• Produce take‑offs, rate build‑ups and tender cost estimates.
• Issue RFQs and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Complete tender‑to‑project handover and establish baseline budgets.

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience on construction projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High proficiency in Excel; SAP and Power BI are desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and data interpretation skills.
