Corporate Obligations Governance Leader

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Corporate Obligations Governance Leader to join the People & Investments team. This senior, business‑facing role will be based in Melbourne (or Sydney) and works in a hybrid model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate obligations and commitments through governance forums and regular reporting.
• Coordinate communication, monitoring, approvals and progress of obligations across the business and support functions.
• Partner with legal, risk, compliance and business teams to improve governance and reporting processes.
• Design and embed practical workflows that enable repeatable delivery across multiple departments.
• Support related‑party service provider governance and accountability arrangements.
• Collaborate with executives and Centres of Excellence to ensure understanding of Australian legislative and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Broad business experience in commercial, operational, strategy or general management roles within complex, regulated environments.
• Proven experience managing corporate obligations and governance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence influencing senior audiences.
