Corporate Communications Coordinator

About the role

VGW is seeking a Corporate Communications Coordinator to support its internal communications strategy. The role focuses on creating engaging content, fostering employee engagement, and keeping the global team informed across internal channels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to deliver best‑practice internal communications that connect the global workforce.
• Develop and produce communication materials for town halls, intranet, and other internal platforms.
• Assist in shaping and executing VGW’s internal communication strategy to strengthen culture and alignment.
• Write and edit clear, audience‑appropriate copy for internal stakeholders.
• Support the broader communications team with website and social‑media content as needed.
• Help promote Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including sponsorships and events.
• Track and report on communication metrics to demonstrate impact.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
• At least 3 years of corporate communications experience in a fast‑paced, medium‑to‑large organization.
• Proven experience in internal communications with a focus on culture‑aligned messaging.
• Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience engaging internal stakeholders at various organisational levels.
• Self‑motivated, solutions‑oriented and accountable.
