Coordinator Placements

About the role

The Coordinator Placements will provide operational leadership and coordination across a diverse portfolio of student placements and Work Integrated Learning activities within the Griffith School of Allied Health, Sport and Social Work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, allocation and administration of placements and Work Integrated Learning opportunities.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, guidance and support to placement staff, fostering a collaborative team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with placement providers, industry partners and key stakeholders.
• Monitor placement requirements, compliance obligations and support accreditation activities.
• Use data and reporting to identify trends, support planning and inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Highly organised, solutions‑focused professional with experience coordinating complex operational programs, placements or internships.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
