About the role

Topgolf Gold Coast is looking for a Cook to provide high-quality, made-to-order food to its guests. The Cook prepares, cooks and presents dishes with care, working in a team environment within a venue that also offers golf games, bar food and drinks and music.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards, keeping pace with meal times.
• Follow workplace hygiene procedures (HACCP) and keep the kitchen clean and hygienic.
• Report any issues affecting kitchen operations immediately to the Sous Chef.
• Set up, prepare and break down buffets and food displays to a high standard of presentation.

Required profile

• Proven cooking experience.
• Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in carrying out assigned tasks.
• Effective communication and ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Basic knowledge of guest dietary needs such as allergies and intolerances.
• Suitable knowledge of food safety; Food Safety Certification is an advantage.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations is an advantage.
