Contracts Specialist – Commercial & Contract Administration

About the role

Eastern Guruma is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to join its Perth CBD head office. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will provide centralised contract and commercial support across multiple mining and operational projects, ensuring compliance, risk management and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, obligations and commercial risks.
• Coordinate tenders, bids, proposals and expressions of interest.
• Prepare progress claims, variations, contractual notices and related reporting.
• Support procurement activities, contract execution and project mobilisation.
• Assist with project controls, forecasting, cost tracking and commercial reporting.
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal and Project teams.

Required profile

• Tertiary or industry qualification in Contract Management, Construction, Commerce, Business or related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in contracts, commercial or contract administration, preferably in mining, civil, construction or facilities management.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk, claims and variations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability and commercial acumen.
