Contract Administrator

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is hiring a Contract Administrator in Perth. The role supports the commercial success of projects by working closely with construction and project teams to manage procurement, cost control and contract administration, while developing the commercial acumen needed to progress a career.

Key responsibilities

• Support the procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Assess progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments.
• Assist with project forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
• Contribute to the management of contractual obligations and commercial risk.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Required profile

• Ideally a minimum of 2 years' experience on commercial building projects as a Contract Administrator or Quantity Surveyor.
• Commercially minded, enjoys solving problems and building relationships, and is willing to learn.
• A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to build productive relationships across project teams and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of contract administration, procurement, project cost control and financial management principles.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
