Content Strategist (Part-Time)

About the role

Mango Media Co is seeking a part‑time Content Strategist to lead the marketing strategy for a portfolio of premium residential builders and trades businesses. You will blend strategic planning with hands‑on execution, turning client business goals into compelling content that drives better jobs and stronger brand perception.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own end‑to‑end content marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Write detailed shoot briefs for the production team, providing clear context and goals.
• Create social media captions, plan content mixes, and maintain content calendars for each client.
• Conduct monthly client meetings to review performance, adjust strategy, and keep clients informed.
• Educate non‑marketing‑native builders on how content activities connect to their business results.
• Collaborate directly with the agency director to ensure strategic alignment and delivery quality.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of client‑facing marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Confident communicator able to explain concepts to non‑marketing audiences.
• Strong writer capable of producing on‑brand social media copy.
• Self‑starter who can work independently without close supervision.
• Data‑informed decision maker who uses performance metrics to guide strategy.
