Content Developer (Higher Education)

About the role

Torrens University Australia is looking for an experienced Content Developer with subject matter expertise to work closely with the Product Innovation Team and academic staff. The role ensures that on-campus and online course material for higher education courses is developed according to the development schedule and reviewed to comply with relevant standards. This is a 14-week casual position with an attractive hourly rate and the potential to be extended.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and write tertiary-level course materials following content writer briefs.
• Ensure course material meets regulatory requirements and can be reused for different intakes.
• Ensure material is developed and delivered within the content development schedule.
• Ensure material is reviewed in line with AQF standards, professional body compliance and the course and subject scope.
• Write, review and edit assessment briefs, assessment tools and assessment rubrics.

Required profile

• Passionate and experienced Content Developer with subject matter expertise.
• Ability to work with the Product Innovation Team and academic staff.
