Content Coordinator

About the role

Journey Beyond, Australia’s leading experiential tourism group, is looking for a Content Coordinator to help bring its diverse brand stories to life. You will work closely with the Editorial and Content Manager and marketing teams across the portfolio to produce compelling copy for social, digital, PR and printed channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Editorial and Content Manager in planning and executing content across multiple brands.
• Write and edit copy for social media, email newsletters, websites, brochures and editorial pieces.
• Adapt voice and tone to suit different audiences and channels while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure content aligns with commercial objectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a content or communications role, agency or in‑house.
• Strong editorial eye, excellent proofreading skills and solid knowledge of content marketing.
• Experience in travel, tourism or lifestyle brands is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Copywriting for social, EDM, web, brochure and editorial formats.
• Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook and Meta Business Suite.
• Familiarity with Brandwatch, Canva and basic image editing tools.
• Understanding of SEO principles and the impact of GEO/AEO on discoverability.
• Awareness of AI tools for content creation and distribution.
