Consultant - Corporate Tax, Private Clients

About the role

EY is hiring a Consultant for its Private Tax team in Melbourne, working across a diverse client base of family offices, privately owned businesses and their families. You will provide taxation advisory and compliance services, working closely with experienced managers and partners. The position is hybrid and can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice to privately owned corporate groups, high net wealth families, trusts and other privately owned entities
• Provide financial reporting and tax compliance services for clients
• Advise clients on key business issues using a wide range of technology in real time
• Work across multiple projects and clients, including start-ups, established private businesses and high-net-worth individuals and families
• Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of family governance frameworks and structures, with a focus on privately owned business
