Construction Supervisor – Civil & Structural

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a multi‑discipline Construction Supervisor to lead civil and structural works on a critical Defence infrastructure project in Tindal, Northern Territory. The role is site‑based and offers a weekly Drive‑In Drive‑Out arrangement from Darwin or the option to relocate to Tindal for the project duration.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil and structural construction activities, ensuring alignment with programme, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and material deliveries to optimise site operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, maintain daily reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems.
• Act as a safety ambassador, promoting a strong safety culture and full health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Monitor progress, assist with planning and sequencing of works, and track costs against the approved budget.
• Support risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Supervisor on civil and structural infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of site‑based construction processes and coordination of subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated environment with strict quality, safety and compliance standards.
