Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The City of Parramatta is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to lead the onsite delivery of diverse civil, building and landscape projects. You will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality, safety and budgetary performance while supporting the council’s transformation into a global city.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities, manage contractors and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Make technical decisions on site, resolve issues promptly and maintain safe, productive worksites.
• Administer contracts, prepare progress reports and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and council policies.
• Monitor budgets, track expenditures, engage consultants and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction supervision, preferably within civil, landscape or building projects.
• Recognised certificate‑level qualification in construction, works supervision or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven experience managing budgets and producing written reports.
