Construction Site Manager

About the role

Stockwell Delivery is looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the delivery of a 20‑storey residential development on Melbourne Street, South Brisbane. You will be responsible for coordinating all on‑site activities, subcontractors and trades while ensuring compliance with safety policies and project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the on‑site construction team and subcontractors.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver the project on time and within budget.
• Contribute to the development and regular updating of the construction programme.
• Ensure works are executed in line with the Market Tested Price, project budget and procurement policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce Stockwell’s Safety Policy.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing residential or mixed‑use multi‑level developments.
• Ability to prepare and implement short‑term programmes, identify and mitigate risks early.
• Strong leadership skills with a motivated, inclusive approach.
• Demonstrated track record in subcontractor management and trade administration.
• Excellent understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for current building and engineering practices.
