Construction Quality Manager

About the role

Wiley is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives across its diverse construction projects. This hands‑on position will embed practical quality systems, optimise Procore usage, and coach teams to deliver defect‑free outcomes that meet client expectations and Wiley’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance initiatives across multiple projects.
• Drive consistent use of Procore, inspections and quality records.
• Develop and implement effective Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) processes.
• Conduct quality reviews, identify improvement opportunities and reduce defects.
• Support practical completion, defect management, warranty and after‑care activities.
• Coach and mentor project teams on quality systems, processes and best practice.
• Monitor quality performance, analyse trends and report to leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement through practical, project‑based solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial construction quality, site management or project delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction quality assurance, ITPs, defect management and practical completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence, coach and build capability across project teams.
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Building or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or Integrated Management Systems is highly regarded.
