Construction Manager – Capital Projects

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead on‑site delivery of key projects within Boral's Silo Upgrade Program, acting as the primary company representative during construction. This hands‑on role requires managing contractors, enforcing strict safety and permit‑to‑work systems, and collaborating with operations to minimise production disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site delivery of projects from pre‑construction through to handover, coordinating multidisciplinary activities to meet schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors daily, resolve issues, enforce safety and contractual requirements, and manage schedule coordination, cost variations and risk control.
• Build strong relationships with site operations, suppliers and internal stakeholders, and coordinate inspections, testing, defect rectification and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Proven on‑site construction delivery on capital projects, preferably in industrial, materials handling or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of construction execution in live operational or brownfield sites and ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across operations, contractors and internal teams.
