Concrete Plant Supervisor

About the role

Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking for an experienced Concrete Plant Supervisor to lead the daily operations of its Port Lincoln Concrete Plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient production of high‑quality concrete while managing a team of operators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of concrete production, including batching, mixing, and loading operations.
• Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products through regular testing and inspections.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, fostering a safe working environment.
• Lead, train, and mentor plant operators and support staff to maintain high performance.
• Collaborate with dispatch and logistics to guarantee timely delivery to customer sites.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory logs, and maintenance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete plant operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Safety‑focused mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols.

Required skills

• Knowledge of concrete batching plant equipment and processes.
• Experience with quality control procedures for concrete production.
